River Stairs

Floating stair treads with a river flowing through the centre.
These stairs were made using long lengths of pippy oak and poured as one long piece so that when cut down to individual treads the wood and resin design flows seamlessly.
The treads are supported by steel plates recessed into the underside of the wood and resin.
The resin is translucent with a blend of different blue/turquoise hues and a hint of gold to complement the floor tiles.
