Sea Effect with Oak Islands Kitchen Island
This large kitchen island with hob and extractor was made to look like the ocean with ‘islands’ formed from pieces of burr oak.
The piece measured 3050x1200mm and was coated with a durable anti-scratch and UV-stable coating.
The sea effect is made up of two design layers of epoxy resin with pigments to create the deep blue colouring and shoreline waves, and there is even some real sand to create small beaches!
